Recycling old posts
I was reading a very popular self-hosted blog. The blog author was going to be out of town for a couple of weeks and he had a great idea that I will borrow, albeit my young blog does not fall into the category of “popular.” When he is out of town, he recycles some of his old posts. He pre-schedules a blog entry to post on a particular day so his blog does not remain dormant. I thought this was a great idea. It gives me an opportunity to look back at my posts and see what I have written. I will be out of town October 15 and 16. On those two days, I will set my blog to post an older blog entry. Another idea I’m chewing on is recycling a post once a week. I have already decided to devote Sundays to post a sermon from a preacher of days gone by. Maybe Saturday can be an old blog post recycled. It would give me an opportunity to read and see where I have come in my own personal bible studies as that is really the reason I started this blog.

Interesting and good idea
Thanks! Actually, it keeps me looking at old posts to see where I’ve been in my Christian studies and gives me an opportunity to re-tool old posts that I may need it.
